Candles can be pretty controversial for men as it is seen as a rather feminine touch to a space. However, a record player allows you to appreciate music with (at times) better quality and surround-sound than you would get from a music streaming service. Having one, personally, I even started going to the record store every Sunday in search for new and old albums to discover! You don't need to get a full scale Hi-Fi type too; I personally use one from Audio Technica and it has never disappointed for the past two years.
