After a long day at work, the last thing you would want to come home to is more chores and inconveniences that would lead to more fatigue. Hence, here I am to SAVE YOUR LIFE AT HOME with some products that have helped me and my previous roommates a lot with our home chores! 1: iRobot Braava Jet M6.
Although most homes are covered with carpeted floors where you can have some fun cleaning them with a slick new Dyson vacuum, hardwood and marble floors are a bit of a challenge. Based on my experience, hard floors like these require a round of mopping as it is most effective in cleaning those surfaces. However, if you're as busy as I am, an iRobot mopper would be an absolute life-saver! I was entertained by one of these when I was at a friend's place and it changed my life when I saw how convenient it was. Literally, just plug and play! It would take around 2 hours so clean an entire apartment, so just schedule cleaning while you're out!
2: Nespresso Vertuo Plus Coffee and Espresso Maker by De'Longh.
A morning cup of Joe has been my lifeline for as long as I can remember. I've been using the Nespresso machines all the while since the days they only had their normal capsules. With the Vertuo capsules, however, they've added layers of flavors to the origin beans which elevates was you get out of every cup. I also got into making my own coffee at home after doing some math comparing making myself a cup of coffee every day vs. buying a cup from Starbucks or Mc'Donalds over time. Plus, a home made cup of coffee the way you like it simply tastes and feels better throughout the day! I also added the Barista machine which froths milk and mix up amazing recipes for coffee!
3: DASH Rapid Egg Cooker.
If you're like me who's into fitness and a healthy lifestyle, eggs make a very important part of our diet. The only issue I have with eggs is the time it takes to cook one and the attention needed. Once, I boiled some eggs and totally forgot about it which lead the pot to dry up and the eggs started blowing up one by one. With DASH's auto shut-off feature, you can set your eggs to cook and head off to your morning routine while your eggs cook! The DASH cooker also has a function that allows you to steam your vegetables so all the nutrients in it won't go to waste.
4: Sink-top dish drying rack.
To this day, I still wash my dishes the traditional way. However, space can be an issue when I used to have a normal drying rack I got form Target. S ometimes, even that's not enough. However, I stumbled upon this product on Amazon and thought it was an absolute space saver. On top of that, having the rack above the sink means the water droplets from wet dishes would drip back into the sink. Having so much space saved, the kitchen didn't feel too cramped and messy.
5: 5 in 1 Jar Opener.
I personally don't have one but I sure am getting it right now! Pickle jars are the worse to open, especially during the winter. I sometimes had to rile up a group of friend to collectively try to open a single jar or run the cap under hot water and ruin the temperature of the contents inside. After reading reviews and watching videos on the item, I think this single product would be my intimate life saver.
