I really got into bodybuilding because I wanted to build confidence, a better physique, a better image for myself and those around me, and many more elements that come with building a better looking body. However, this very hobby of mine would bring about mental fortitude as well.


I kept going and my body got bigger. Along with that, my confidence and my self-esteem as well. I mean, who would feel bummed all day long with a better looking body? At least, that's something you crafted yourself and you produced for the betterment of your own body.

As I progressed, the interdependence of physical and mental strength became unmistakably clear. The heavier the weights, the more formidable the mental barriers. Yet, with each barrier breached, my physical and mental capacities expanded in unison.
