Lamborghini has finally announced their hottest cake out of their oven: the Lamborghini Huracán Technica. According to Lamborghini, the Technica is built for those who seek an exhilarating ride and a car that best reflects their lifestyle. And it's quick!
The rear-wheel drive 5.2L V10 is packed with about 640 horsepower and 565nm of torque. This means 30 more horsepower from the Huracán Evo which propels the car from 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds, just as quick as its V12 cousin, the Aventador. The Technica uses rear-wheel steering with direct steering ration and torque vectoring giving the driver better steering response so drivers can take faster and tighter corners effortlessly.
If a car goes fast, it also has to be able to stop fast. Hence, Lamborghini answered that with a whole new brake cooling management system on the carbon ceramic brakes inspired by their track cars. Lamborghini says the newly designed cooling deflectors and caliper ducts allow better direction of air into the brakes to maximize heat dissipation. This prevents the brakes from fading overtime with intense braking and high brake pad consumption.
However, cars like this are most often used on the road or kept in garages with only a few who would actually take them out to the track. How relevant are these upgrades? Well, its the full bragging right owners get. It's like an average person owning a Rolex Daytona; we're not going to time any laps or go racing but it looks good and everyone knows the potential functions it has and can achieve. It's simply a fantastic phenomenon to live through.
Prices for the Technica remain unstated at this time but we think it would land somewhere in between the Huracán Evo and STO.
